FSOA Passed!

Yesterday, I was fortunate to receive a conditional offer to join the Foreign Service. Now all I have to do is pass medical and security clearances, clear the final review adjudication, and then actually get hired off of the register. Life has been very tumultuous the last six months or so, but hopefully things have finally settled down enough for me to start posting regularly.

Congratulations. You made it through the really difficult part. The rest just takes a bit of time, but it should turn out okay in the end.

Congratulations on passing the FSOA!! As much as a nightmare as it is to go through the seizures, it's so great to know that it's not ruining my hubby's career. Thanks for the congrats, I'm ready for him to come any day now. :)

How many months between submitting your PNs and getting invited to the Oral? Thank you

@Anonymous - generally, I think it's 6-8 weeks for the QEP to make decisions and send an OA invite after you turn in your PNQs.
