As Kolbi at A Daring Adventure recently posted, it's bluebonnet season in Texas. I hereby declare a bluebonnet bandwagon and am jumping on. Here is Titus at Big Bend National Park, enjoying the bluebonnet season.

Adorable picture! Thank you so much for putting it up!
Maybe this week, more people will post about flowers in their area...
Now, you have to give more information about the photo... I'm assuming this is your doggie, right? Any other details you feel like sharing?
Thanks so much for the mention! And I love the picture!
Oh how I miss blue bonnets and I still want to take my kids to Big Bend State Perk (and to Balmorhea State Park on the way) but I do NOT want to do that in the middle of July when we will be in TX on Home Leave between posts. Any I idea how hot it is there that time of year? Yikes!
Kolbi,
Titus is our ex-boxer. We adopted him about 6 years ago and then gave him to my parents after our first daughter was born. We would have kept him if we thought it was safe, but Titus has a natural 'exubrance' which results in grown men getting knocked down by him jumping onto them. And let's not mention his tail, which has been known to fall small tress. Defintely wasn't safe with the baby. I'll probably be sharing some video of him in the hill-country pretty soon.
Shannon,
As you can imagine, it gets awfully hot in the summer. I'm sure the summer averages are in the 90's but the desert rainy season begins in July and cools it down quite a bit (that bit being relative, I guess).
Hey--any tips on the PN??? I need any advice I can get! I am psyching myself out a bit too much over it I think, but if you have any tips of writing it I'd greatly appreciate it. I have 9 more days to write and I'm so determined to make it past this step!
